The Bucs got beat much worse than the score indicates. QB Chris Simms had another terrible football game, completing 28 of 53 passes for 313 yards and 3 pick-offs. RB Carnell Williams ran the ball 15 times for 37 yards (2.5 ypc). WR Joey Galloway caught 9 passes for 161 yards (17.9 avg). Michael Clayton caught 5 passes for 62 yards (12.4 avg). Ike Hilliard caught 6 passes for 53 yards (8.8 avg).

The defense looked pitiful against the Falcons despite only giving up 14 points. The Falcons ran the ball 44 times for 306 yards (7.0 ypc)….as two Falcons ran for over 100 yards (Dunn 134, Vick 127). The Falcons only threw 16 passes and completed 10 (62.5%) for only 76 net yards.
