The Bucs focused on their defense early in the draft and Quincy Black certainly is a good enough athlete to help.  He’s on the small side at 6′1″, 226 pounds but he’s really fast as he runs a 4.66 40.  If the Bucs can keep blockers away from Black he can make plays in space because of his superior athletic ability.  But if linemen get to him he is out of the play quickly.  He played in 36 games (23 starts) at New Mexico and he made 195 tackles, 4.5 tackles for a loss, had 1.5 sacks, broke up 9 passes and had 4 interceptions.  Look for Black to compete for a starting job and to help out on a lot of the special teams as a rookie for the Bucs.
