The Buccaneers have re-signed CB Sammy Davis who was one of the last cuts the Bucs made before the season started.  Davis had 30 tackles and he defended 7 passes last season for the 49ers.  Over his NFL career he has played in 57 games and he has made 152 tackles, defensed 30 passes, has 1 sack, forced 1 fumble and he has picked off 3 passes.  Davis was signed for depth reasons after starting CB Brian Kelly left last Sunday’s game with a groin injury.
