The Buccaneers have signed center Jeff Faine to a 6-year, $37.5 million dollar contract. He is the best center that was available in free agency and he fills a big need for the Bucs. He played in 14 games last season for the Saints and he has now played in 66 games in his NFL career. Faine is a solid pass blocker but at 6’3″, 291 pounds he needs help in the running game. Still, this was a nice move by the Bucs.
