A lot of people criticized the draft of the Bucs last April but no one is now.  DE Gaines Adams was the first round pick of the Bucs and he got better as the season wore on.  Adams played in 16 games (8 starts) for the Buccaneers last season and he made 38 tackles, had 6 sacks, forced 2 fumbles and defensed 2 passes.  OG Arron Sears was the 2nd round pick of the Bucs’ in last year’s draft and he was a good one.  Sears started all 16 games for the Bucs and he will be a fixture on their offensive line for a long, long time.  Strong safety Sabby Piscitelli hurt his foot after playing in 3 games (0 starts) and making 3 tackles.  OLB Quincy Black was the 3rd round pick for the Bucs last season.  He played in 15 games (0 starts) for the Bucs and he made 19 tackles and forced 2 fumbles.  The Bucs got one of the steals of the draft in the 4th round when they selected safety Tanard Jackson.  Jackson started all 16 games as a rookie last season and he made 56 tackles, forced a fumble, defensed 13 passes and picked off two passes.  Jackson also is a hard hitting player that intimidates opposing receivers.  DT Greg Peterson was the 5th round pick of the Bucs last year.  He played in 10 games (0 starts) last season for the Bucs and he made 14 tackles and had 1.5 sacks.  OLB Adam Hayward was the pick in the 6th round by the Bucs.  He played in 12 games (0 starts) and he made 15 tackles.  OT Chris Denman (Injured Reserve-Hand) and CB Marcus Hamilton (practice squad) never made it to the field for the Bucs last season.  The Bucs final pick in the draft was RB Kenneth Darby who spent most of the season on the practice squad.  Darby played in 1 game (0 starts) for the Bucs last season and he returned 2 kickoffs for 11 yards.
