7. (238) Cory Boyd, RB
Cory Boyd will need to be monitored by the often by the coaches as he has had run ins with the law in the past. Boyd runs the football like his hair is on fire. Boyd has really good power for a man that’s 6’0″, 212 pounds and he’s just fast enough (4.5 40) to break long runs once in a while. Boyd played in 46 games (28 starts) at South Carolina and he carried the ball 464 times for 2,267 yards (4.9 ypc) with 23 TD runs. He also has caught 117 passes for 1,303 yards (11.1 avg) with 5 TD grabs. Boyd will have to behave as a rookie and play special teams but he has a big enough upside for the Bucs to stick with him as long as he behaves.
